High Output 8' fluorescent lamps have the R17d recessed double contact base. These are generally found in sign applications but also in general commercial/warehouse applications as well. The 8' LED T8HO/T12HO replacement bulbs come in various color temps with 4000K and 5000K being standard while TCP offers the rare 3000K and 3500K, and Keystone has a 6500K. Also available in glass (lower cost/greater beam spread) or plastic/aluminum (more durable, concentrated light/higher cost).
