What are LED-ready fixtures? They are new fixtures that do not have LED lights installed with them but come equipped to take Type B LED T8 lamps that bypass the ballast and wire direct. Because they are new fixtures, they do not have ballasts but have the proper sockets. Most are designed for single-end wired Type B LED tubes with the live and neutral wired to one end. These come as basic strip fixtures as well as lensed wrap, highbay or vaportight fixtures.
