TCP LED Turtle Lights are designed to provide long wavelength light for properties that are adjacent to sea turtle nesting beaches. New GEN2 model from TCP is 590 nanometer Amber. To be compliant with beachfront best practices, the lamp must be mounted in an enclosed fixture and mounted as low as possible. At 590nm pure amber, this is an improvement on the previous 630nm GEN1 version and will not disturb turtles or other nearby animals like a bright white light would. Rated for 25,000 hours with a 5 year manufacturer warranty.
