GE has released more ground-breaking LED technology with their hazardous location LED HID lamps. These lamps have high temperature ratings of 65° (21W version) 55° (35W version) and 45° (45W version) and are rated for Class 1 and Division 2 applications. This means they are designed to operate where flammable vapors and gases are present, in harsh environments such as drilling rigs, petrochemical facilities, food and beverage facilities and other heavy-industrial areas. Currently available in 21W (50W Equivalent), 35W (70W Equivalent) and 45W (100W Equivalent) wattages and color temperatures of 3000K, 4000K or 5000K. E26 medium screw-in base and comes with an E39 mogul socket adapter if replacing an E39 HID. 120-277V with a CRI greater than 70. GE Hazardous Location LED HID lamps still feature GE's industry leading ANSI/form factor, ensuring they will fit in nearly any application.
