Aleddra's Classic Overbed Light combines Circadian Lighting and UV Germicidal Lighting in one fixture. The UV-mode features UVC (265nm) and UVA (395nm) LED light for effective reduction of infectious bacteria/viruses in hospitals by 99% in 10 minutes. The fixture comes equipped with a built-in triple safety mechanism; UV start-time delay, flashing warning light and a timer to safeguard the user from UV exposure. In general lighting mode, the lighting can be adjusted as necessary to accommodate the needs of different sleepers. It can feature uplight, downlight, or light in both directions. More importantly, from a circadian standpoint it can utilize blue-enriched light to stimulate biological activity during the day along with blue-depleted light to calm down biological activity at night. This can be particularly beneficial for those who suffer from PTSD, SAD, Dementia, sleep disorders, jet lag, or anyone that desires to have better health and sleep quality.
