GE has released more ground-breaking LED technology with their hazardous location LED HID lamps. These lamps have high temperature ratings and are rated for Class 1 and Division 2 applications. This means they are designed to operate where flammable vapors and gases are present, in harsh environments such as drilling rigs, petrochemical facilities, food and beverage facilities and other heavy-industrial areas. Currently available in 21W (50W Equivalent), 35W (70W Equivalent), 45W (100W Equivalent) and 80W (250W Equivalent) wattages and color temperatures of 3000K, 4000K or 5000K. New 80W version only comes in 4000K or 5000K but is available in 120-277V or 480V version. 80W version comes in E39 mogul base. 70 CRI, rated for 50,000 hours and a 5 year manufacturer warranty. GE Hazardous Location LED HID lamps of course still feature GE's industry leading ANSI/form factor, ensuring they will fit in nearly any application.
