GE Current has released a Hybrid LED Driver that powers Type A LED tubes, creating a UL verified Type C system with minimal installation time. These LED Drivers come in 2-lamp or 4-lamp configurations, are non-dimmable, and power various GE Current Type A LED tubes. GE Current tubes that are compatible with these drivers come in different sizes and wattages, with most rated for 70,000 hours. Many of these Current Type A LED T8 lamps are in existing installations, so it is a good way to convert those fixtures to Type C systems with these LED drivers once the ballast dies.
